This information ends up in the scammers hands and uses these details for illegal deals such as credit card fraud.Overally it results in IDENTITY THEFT!
You can prevent identity theft in several ways.
1)Shred all your financial documents before discarding them
2)DO NOT click in unsolicited e-mail messages AND
enroll in a credit monitiring service.

This is because these criminals will continue to succeed because of people's over dependence on online services.Our trust in the things we find on the web needs to just decrease for our own good.
